Jill Aitken is the Executive Director of Retire-at-Home Services, Toronto West and North York, providing in-home care for seniors. Retire-At-Home Services strives to give compassionate care, with customer service second to none.

Jill’s background is in the sciences (she holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Cambridge), and before joining Retire-At-Home Services she worked in the Public Service of Canada.

A life-long Anglican church-goer, both at home in Canada and for many years in the Church of England, Jill currently worships with her husband and three young children at Christ Church Deer Park, Toronto.

Between her post-graduate degrees, Jill worked in Uganda, where she developed a heart for all things African. She has worked in the past to raise money for an orphanage in Jinja, Uganda, and is currently active in support of South Sudanese families who are rebuilding their lives after having spent years in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.
