My nursing career began in Paediatrics and Labour and Delivery and included a Research Lab and a Dental office. In 2003 I completed a certificate in Mental Health Nursing. From 2009 to the 2019, I held a part time position in Long Term Care. Throughout my varied career I felt something missing and answered the call to Parish Nursing. In 2008 I graduated from the ICHM Education Programme and was hired as Parish Nurse at St. Mark’s United Church in Whitby. I worked closely with both Outreach and Pastoral Care. My passion is to advocate for health and wholeness, body, mind and spirit for all ages, from Baptism families through middle years to the transition issues of the elder adults. I retired as a practicing Parish Nurse in 2019, and am an active volunteer with ICHM since 2015.

It is my greatest joy to be Yaya to 2 Granddaughters and 2 Grandsons.
