My nursing career began in Paediatrics and Labour and Delivery and included a Research Lab and a Dental office. In 2003 I completed a certificate in Mental Health Nursing. From 2009 to the present I have held a part time position in Long Term Care. Throughout my varied career I felt something missing and answered the call to Parish Nursing. In 2008 I graduated from the ICHM Education Programme and was hired as Parish Nurse at St. Mark’s United Church in Whitby, where I continue to practice. I work closely with both Outreach and Pastoral Care. My passion is to advocate for health and wholeness, body, mind and spirit for all ages, from Baptism families through middle years to the transition issues of the elder adults.
It is my greatest joy to be Yaya to 2 Granddaughters and 2 Grandsons.
