Promoting wholistic care of body, mind and spirit and practices that deepen our faith and foster wholeness.
Living as One who is spiritually whole comes through developing deep faith in Jesus Christ our salvation and our hope
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Faith is about the way we react to things now while waiting in hope in God's word
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and your neighbour as your self.
The health and healing ministry of Jesus Christ comprises Faith, Hope and Love. They are the very nature of God, and thus the nature of Being itself. Richard Rohr
Caring for our Spirit
We embody wholeness in body, mind, and spirit for we are made in the image and likeness of God. These interrelated aspects of being work together and impact our health and well-being. Spirit has a major influence on the condition of both body and mind. A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body. So, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
Caring for our Body
The body is a temple for the holy spirit so let us be whole as God is whole. Becoming whole includes getting plenty of rest and sleep, hydration, proper food, diet and nutrition, and regular exercise.
Caring for our Mind
Contemplative practices help people improve their mental and emotional health. They form habits of the heart and soul through daily practices like prayer, meditation, yoga, nature walks, mindfulness, breathing, gratitude, compassion for self and others, loving kindness, and reading scripture and poetry.
