ICHM supports the health and healing ministry of Jesus Christ through its online and onsite discussions, workshops, practice groups and events. It works in partnership with Church Health Ministry Teams and Parish Nurses to promote whole-person health and deeper connections with God's presence, people and creation.

Living as One who is spiritually whole comes through developing deeper love and faith in Jesus Christ our salvation and our hope.
FAITH
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Its about how we respond daily to God's grace while waiting with hope in God's word
HOPE
I wait for the Lord,
my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5
LOVE
The Lord is our God.
The Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength and your neighbour as your self.
The health and healing ministry of Jesus Christ comprises Faith, Hope and Love. They are the very nature of God, and thus the nature of Being itself. Richard Rohr
Caring for our Spirit
We embody wholeness in body, mind, and spirit for we are made in the image and likeness of God. These interrelated aspects of being work together and impact our health and well-being. Spirit has a major influence on the condition of both body and mind. A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body. So, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
Caring for our Mind
Contemplative practices, entered into whole heartedly, help people improve their mental and emotional health. They form habits of the heart and soul through daily practices like prayer, fasting, meditation, yoga, nature walks, mindfulness, breathing, gratitude, compassion for self and others, loving kindness, and reading and reflection on sacred text and poetry.
Caring for People and the Planet
In all things and in all ways we are called to love God and one another as ourselves. God requires us to care for creation, walk humbly, act justly and love mercy. Joining together, we can create communities of care and action that promote the health and well-being of all things to the glory of God.
