END-OF-LIFE CHOICES

 OCTOBER 25, 2016 – TRINITY UNITED, COBOURG

A MORNING CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP WITH ROGER HUTCHINSON

AND FREE AFTERNOON PANEL AND DISCUSSION

A panel discussion on medically assisted death will take place at Trinity United Church in Cobourg.

This two-part day offers an opportunity to explore the many issues surrounding the recently passed end-of-life legislation and those which led to its creation. End-of-life options have been the subject of much conversation in the media and among families and care professionals.  With the leadership of Roger Hutchinson, Professor Emeritus of Christian Ethics and former Principal of Emmanuel College, we will bring our own experiences into dialogue with Christian theology and ethical teachings in the past and present.

The morning workshop is designed for ministers, pastoral visitors and other professionals, but all are welcome.
