Into the Light: Walking with Nurses Toward Better Mental Health Outcomes

Our Continuing Education, day-long event will be held at Peoples Church, 374 Sheppard Avenue East in Toronto. This venue is easily accessible off Hwy 401 via the Yonge or Bayview exits or by the Sheppard Avenue subway/bus.

Last year’s conference explored the local and spiritual approaches to helping congregants and community members with mental health issues. This year, we’ll learn from experts what  the latest research and treatment options are which Parish Nurses can use for decision making in referrals to medical specialists for their clients.

This event will be offered to parish nursing and mental health professionals, as well as interested officials from religion, government and other relevant sectors. Lunch and a take-away booklet will be provided.
